With the first game of the new Premier League season approaching, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has a huge decision to make.
His only senior right-back Kieran Trippier looks set to miss the next few weeks due to injury, meaning there’s a real gap on the right of Tottenham’s backline for a tricky trip to Newcastle this weekend.
The Magpies may have just returned to the top flight from the Championship but they carry real momentum into the new season and will be backed by a boisterous St. James’ Park on Sunday.
The obvious choice to fill the void is England international and utility man Eric Dier, who has featured at right-back for the Lilywhites before.
But there’s also the option of playing 3-4-3 and selecting Moussa Sissoko as a right wing-back, allowing the misfit Frenchman to wreak havoc against his former club.
So, Spurs fans, who would you pick to start against Newcastle? Dier, Sissoko or a shock start for promising youngster Kyle Walker-Peters? Let us know by voting below…
